How PETKIT Help Started
As 2023 drew to a close, Stephanie Filer, the Executive Director of Shelter Animals Count, delivered a stark revelation — the shelter system harbored an additional 250,000 animals compared to the preceding year, as reported by SAC compiling data from nearly 7,000 shelters nationwide. The ripple effects of inflation post-pandemic are forcing individuals to make the heart-wrenching decision to surrender their beloved pets. The intertwining of the term “crisis" with U.S. animal shelters in recent news underscores an unambiguous reality — shelters nationwide are grappling with an overwhelming surge of animals.
In the aftermath of the pandemic-induced economic upheaval, the viability of these sanctuaries hangs in the balance. Stephanie, speaking to TIME, bluntly stated, “Shelters are quite literally at crisis, and some of them are making the decision to close their doors or reduce hours of operation or reduce the kind of animals that they bring in.”
As professionals in the realm of smart pet products, PETKIT couldn't turn a blind eye to the escalating crisis faced by animal shelters across the nation. Understanding the plight of these shelters and the animals they care for, PETKIT Help was born with a clear mission — to make the impossible possible by channeling our expertise into initiatives that provide relief, resources, and hope to pets facing hardships.

Partnering With Charitable Organizations
With the support of our community and partners, we are empowered to reach further, touch more lives, and advocate for the rights and welfare of all animals.
Kitten Rescue, Unwrap Magic Box Fundraiser
Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. In December 2023, we hosted the Unwrap Magic Box Fundraiser to find loving homes for homeless cats and kittens. Through our partnership, we successfully raised an impressive sum of $1,597, providing 130 units of essential products. All proceeds were directed to support Kitten Rescue's efforts in aiding stray and vulnerable animals, aligning with our shared commitment to their cause.
Mission Meow, The Marlin Giving Tree Fundraiser
Mission Meow is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization of animal advocates striving to increase charitable donations for small feline-centric nonprofits to bring meaningful change to cats in need. In December 2023, they orchestrated The Marlin Giving Tree Fundraiser during the festive season. As a proud contributor, PETKIT donated to the grand prize as did 6 other Mission Meow's business partners and surpassed their fundraising goal by raising over $6,000. This achievement allowed Mission Meow to give a larger grant in January, bringing meaningful change to many more lives.
Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A, Foster Home Beginners’ Help
