I have been had it for two weeks. My cats all love it and felt comfortable to use it! It took some space but it is worth it. It would automatically clean every time after a cat used it and collected the waste in the bin. We’ve been obsessed with the video records of them used the cat litter box lol..

We used to own the Puramax before we decided to upgrade to the Purobot Ultra. Though it is bigger, the additional functionality makes it worth the cost difference. The setup was super straightforward and we've had no issues so far.

The cleaning cycle seems quieter than the puramax and the app lets you track your cat's stool and weight. We only have one cat, but it can tell the difference between our cat and dog coming up to the litterbox lol. The waste container has a trap door that keeps the smell from going out which is nice since it holds a lot, 3-4 wks.

Got it right before i went to my vacation. I recently went on vacation over the July 4th holiday for 5 days, and this automatic cat litter box made things so much easier. It worked perfectly while I was away—no mess, no smell, and my cat adjusted to it without any issues. Knowing the litter box was being cleaned regularly gave me peace of mind during my trip. Super convenient and definitely worth it if you travel or have a busy schedule!

My 3kg cat fits inside the litter box, although it looks tight from the outside. There is still enough room for the cat to move, turn, and stand. Larger cats might not fit. The entrance size works well for a cat wearing an Elizabethan collar. A slight smell was noticed near the machine after use, but it's still within an acceptable range. I am satisfied with the camera quality and clarity. The camera can rotate 180 degrees manually.

We bought this while it was on sale and made an impulsive (though mildly informed) decision and bought this. We have 3 cats and having to bend down and scoop poop, especially after a long day of work and some mobility issues. It's functions are fully customizable and work pretty dang well. It's UI is really easy to understand and is intuitive for the most part. Navigating the menu on the LED on the litter box isn't as much, but it's mostly due to the double-click confirmation. You scroll through the menu, then single click the option, THEN double click to confirm. I'm sure it's a safety feature but it took me sec to figure that out since I kept getting frustrated that it wouldn't go through. The robot is pretty damn big, about 2 regular bots wide and length, considering it's functionality, so expect it to take up a good amount of space. Now, about all the subscriptions you'll be presented with with it's many moving parts. The cloud service it has is relatively useful, but considering it locks the extra functionalities behind a subscription, it's a little frustrating. The filter for the trash receptacle is relatively cheap to replace and it does a damn good job at covering up the smell of the building trash bag. The bag needs to be packed every 2-4 days depending on the cats' frequency which isn't all too bad. The gripes I have with it are few. One issue I came across is the packing functionality works mostly fine, using heat to melt the bag-ends and sealing the bag. I had an issue where the robot did NOT do a good job of splitting the sealed bag from the new part of the bag and it ended up with me prying it apart. The full bag was fine but it ended up creating a tear in the refill, thus rendering it completely useless (unless I missed a way to re-seal it or find a remedy.) I had to refill the ring with a new, non-torn one and that's money down the drain. Overall, I'd consider it a great purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone who's got the money and who needs a little extra help around the house.

I have 7 cats & only 1 doesn’t like using it so he uses his old litter box and not this automatic one. I will say it is very functional & easy to setup. I love the app, very straight forward. I love the quality of this litter robot. WiFi setup was a breeze. Having kitten mode is very satisfying. Overall very happy, my cats are all Persians so they are on the smaller side so I don’t mind the smaller drum compared to other litter robots, they even have extra room. I could not recommend this one enough.

After setting this new box up for my kitties, they immediately took interest to it. However, it wasn't until a week later, did they finally actually use the box. I have the PuraMax and they were used to it, but because this one has a front attachment for the camera, they were unsure of it at first.

First thing, this box is huge. It's way bigger than the PuraMax, so make sure you measure and make space for it. I love the new AI camera monitoring feature as I have 3 cats and this gives me a peace of mind knowing I can monitor them more closely. The app is also really good at differentiating each cat's usage. There are so many different settings on the app to really customize your experience.

The Purobot is definitely a huge upgrade from the previous models. The one thing that concerned me before was the way the drum rotates. This one rotates sideways so there are no closing doors or anything that can potential harm my cats. There's also a "kitten" mode in the app settings in case you have kittens to protect their safety.

The new odor control is an added bonus. I clean their boxes frequently so this was never an issue to begin with. The completely sealed door where the waste goes is totally sealed when not in use so it really does eliminate any odors. Another added bonus is the heat sealed waste bag when you need to dump the waste.

There's two different attachments that come with this unit depending on what type of litter you use. I use Dr Elsey's litter and didn't have to switch litters which made this transition easier. This also has the option to use tofu litter, you'll just use a different sifter for the drum.

There is an optional monthly service to save video content and additional features, but it can be used without it. Really happy with this new box.

This has transformed owning a cat, definitely 10/10 out of the options on market today (and I spent over 6 months researching all the different ones) I can't smell any mess thanks to the timely auto clean, sealed doors, and the scent block. I placed it on a 27×42in black tray from a dog kennel.
Additionally I use the tofu litter and it works quite well with low messes outside the litter box.
I like the lazer sealed bags (which also helps control smell & mess) and I think it helps if anyone has pots or other disabilities, it does 9/10ths of the litter changing care all on it's own with little intervention needed.
Additionally, I thought the camera was extra and not needed but after using it for 3+ months now, it's too cool and very useful.. there's a subscription service for it, so it's your choice how much you actually would use, and theres a free 1 month starter trial

Love that I don’t have to deal with the litter every day, this is our 4 and they keep getting better and better. Our cat loves the box too.

I received mine today as an Indiegogo contributor, paying half the price. I have two cats—a 10 lb Ragdoll and a 9 lb Siberian, both under a year old. They love it so far and are super curious about it. The entrance is a bit small, but they can get in without any issues. No leaks so far. It’s currently set to clean the waste 60 seconds after the cats leave.

From what I’ve seen, it doesn’t really use AI to identify your pet; you have to manually select the pet profile for the time being as an update will be released sometime in November. It’s a bit large, although this is my first litter robot. I managed to fit it snugly by my computer desk and against a wall.

Overall, the parts are easy to assemble and disassemble. Most pieces snap together magnetically or latch in place, with screws only needed for the camera hardware installation.

PS: I ordered the cats litter ramp for it, but with the redesign, it won’t arrive until late October. In the meantime, the cats are tracking litter, so I recommend placing a mat to help with that.

I was a part of the Indiegogo campaign and have had my Purobot Ultra for about a week now and I am thoroughly impressed! I would like to say that I did have some issues with the camera in the beginning but the Petkit team has been really responsive and amazing in helping to get a replacement, even after I was able to get the one that initially came in the box working in the meantime. That out of the way, this device is really accurate so far in measurements and identifying my two cats. I love that it has a feature to make sure all the excrement is completely covered before rotating it into the waste packing, it is staying so clean! Speaking of the waste packing system, it is awesome! No leaking, no smell, and really convenient! I haven't had to change it yet but I have opened the back cover and checked on it and it is doing everything exactly as described. I also love that it came with two different sifters for bigger type litters like tofu and smaller finer litters like clay and a toilet brush to help keep it clean. The combination of the sifter, the toilet brush, and the feature to ensure all the waste is coated in litter well have been keeping this litterbox really clean! Onto the camera! The whole reason I opted into the indiegogo campaign to back this product is because of the camera system. I could not figure out which of my cats was going to the bathroom constantly because my other litterboxes were not accurate on weighing and identifying them and this has helped so much in figuring out who is using the litterbox most often and if and when they are having loose stools or anything else going on. It will share a video of the cleaning process and help you to determine how the excrement looks and if it is a cause for concern. There is also a litter that petkit sells that has color identifying balls that help the camera's AI determine if there is any blood in the urine or stool. I plan on ordering some. The size in my opinion is basically the same at their PuraMax but different orientation. The footprint is large but it is like turning the PuraMax sideways. So far this litterbox has been a game changer and I am so happy with it! I have other petkit litterboxes but this one takes the cake! For me, the value and piece of mind I have since receiving this litterbox makes it so worth it! Thank you PetKit!

The real-time camera is fantastic. It’s a shame the playback is behind a paywall (Care+), but they give you a month free to decide. For a tech-lover, this is a cool gadget.

The machine itself is massive on the outside, but the inside is surprisingly snug. My cats are fine (11lbs), but I wouldn't put a huge cat in here. The auto-packing is still the coolest feature I've used.

Being away for a week used to stress me out. Now I get notifications and clips. The AI is still 'learning' my cats, but it's a huge step up from a standard box.
