The capacity of 3L (12-cup) is estimated to store about 1.33 kg (2.9 lbs) of food, which is enough to feed an adult cat for 15 days.

Each portion is about 10g ≈ 1/12 cup.

The feeder is compatible with dry kibble and freeze-dried kibble. Avoid dry kibble with a diameter over 12mm (0.47in) or freeze-dried kibble with a diameter over 9mm (0.35in).

The PETKIT app sends helpful notifications about your feeder’s status. We recommend keeping these notifications turned on, as they provide information about meal dispensing, low food level, desiccant replacement, firmware updates, and more.

Yes. The feeder will still dispense food according to the feeding schedule you set up.

FRESH ELEMENT SOLO supports battery mode. After installing five AAA batteries, the feeder will still dispense food according to the feeding schedule you set up in case of a power outage. Please note that the backup batteries need to be purchased separately.

It only supports 2.4 GHz networks.

It is more suitable for cats and small-breed dogs.

The feeder’s enclosed design prevents accidental dispensing when shaken, and the pet-proof lock on the lid can prevent your pet from opening it. It dispenses food following your preset feeding schedule or can be manually dispensed by pressing the Feed button.

Place the feeder where your pet currently eats, ensure it’s not scheduled for feeding yet, let your pet explore for a day or two, add a bit of their food for familiarity, place treats nearby for positive associations, and press the Feed button while your pet is present to introduce them to the feeder’s sounds.
